is the first novel of the space cowboy Recast series. Colt is a wrangler, but after Brynn left him without a word he switched from wrangling cows and horses through space to wrangling men. One of his prisoners escapes just as he receives a message from Brynn that she needs help. As fate would have it, his escapee has headed for the planet Brynn is calling from. I don't want to say more as there are many small surprises throughout the book.I enjoyed this story and have the second book, (Clash: Recast, Book 2
) which just came out on my ebook reader and will be delving into it soon. If you enjoyed the TV series Firefly, you will probably like this series.
